What it does
Gemini Task is Google 24/7 personal AI agent: it runs in the background on Google cloud — even when your devices are off — carrying multi-step tasks across Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs and other apps, and asks before anything major. It requires a Google AI Pro or Ultra subscription. Formerly Gemini Spark; Google began renaming it Task in October 2026.
